A BIG Change of Plans!

Hi everyone!
Well.....you thought I was getting the Nikon D5200
with an 18-105 mm lens! BUT!! I cancelled that order! I am now changing
to a more expensive order but one that is way better! Here is the link to it!

So back to the post! I decided I wanted to try to fiddle around with water on this one!
My good friend Shelby Young lent me her camera for a little while, so I grabbed the next door neighbor, got a watering can, and started working! This was the result!

I just thought this photo was cool!
I love the colors on this one! I tried to take a different
angle then what usually people would on this flower!
I just like the colors in this one!
I feel like I can almost reach out and pop the bubble of water
on top of the flower!
Iphone photo I took the other day! Without a camera I have been
working a little with the Iphone!

Experimenting with the Nikon D3100

I am very excited to share these photos with you! All fo them were taken
with my friend Shelby Young's Nikon D3100 with an 18-55 mm lens. I think they are pretty
cool!! I have recieved news my camera is coming on America's Wednesday! I am really
excited!!!! I would love to hear what you think of the photos!!
And if you haven't joined my blog I would be ecstatic if you did!
I am a sucker for any photo with a bee, so I was really
happy when I saw this one!
My first attempt at a water droplet! How did I do?
 Another bug photo :)
I think I prefer the black and white photo for this one.
What do you think?
This flower was simply stunning! I was happy I could get
just a glimpse of its beauty!
The black and white version of this photo!

I just thought this photo was kind of cool!
I was pretty bummed though about the bright light
on the flower!
Believe it or not this is actually a photo of light coming through the trees!
This one was actually taken with my old Nikon D40!

Exciting News!

(Photos best viewed large)
Hi everyone!!! Well I have some
very exciting news! After laboriously saving up
I HAVE FINALLY ORDERED MY CAMERA!! God
really provided for me.....Mom was expecting for me to have
enough money for it one my birthday (and they would give the remaining)
but God provided so it is on its way! Well these are probably
the last photos I will post using a borrowed camera :) Also, on G+
random people have been following me after seeing my photos,
so I just added like 267 random people so now they can see my photos
.......so we will see what happens with that. The camera is supposed to come
in 2ish weeks, so this will be my last post until then! Once I get it,
I will be posting LOTS on my website (and more than likely to be more nature photos)
Thanks for keeping up with my blog even when I didn't have a camera :)
Thanks for looking, commenting, and following!

Finally..........A SUNSPOT!! :)
I was really pleased with this photo (above)

Camera Decision

(Photos best viewed large)
Hello everyone!
I am sooo happy I finally got to share these with you!
Sorry I have not posted in FOREVER I have been
REALLY busy trying to save up for the new camera! Also,
my blogger has gone funny and now I have to send
the pictures to various computers before posting. L I have
spent AT LEAST an hour trying to get these photos up.
I have decided I am getting the Nikon D5200!!!!!!
It is recommended by heaps of magazines and instead of
just getting a normal camera it is an Entry Level camera :)
I AM REALLY EXCITED! ONLY ABOUT TWO-ISH MORE WEEKS
TILL I GET MY NEW CAMERA!!! A good friend of mine (also an aspiring photographer)
Shelby Young lent me her camera for 2 minutes (literally she counted in her head :) and then another time I was able to use it a little longer :) All the nature photos are the ones I took
with her Nikon D3100. I really like that camera. Also I am learning how to adjust little things about my photos in Iphoto. It is hard but I think I am improving!
I would love to hear what you like\don't like about the photos!

Kate + A Camera

This post is again of the photos that aren't the best but are still average.
Ok, after much debating I have come to a decision about my camera!
That decision is.................I still don't know which one to get, BUT
I am planning to go to a camera shop and test out all the ones on my list!
So, you are stuck with me posting the older photos :)
These photos were taken with the Canon Rebel.
I really like that camera and I may get it.......but time can only tell. ;)
So, now for the photos! I would love all the followers, feedback, and tips
I can get!

I like this photo (below) because it tells a short story.
Kate is taking a photo of Lilly, and I like how I sort of
captured it on camera.

I do admit in this last photo I did not follow
the rule of thirds because I fell it gives more
colour and texture to the photo.

Ruthie

Hi everyone!
As you know I am getting a new camera, which one I am still unsure.
Recently we had a garage sale in which mom graciously
gave me all the proceeds, which was $300! I was really
excited as that is one more step closer to my new camera. This post
and probably a few more will be using our neighbors Canon EOS Rebel T3i with an
18-105 mm. lens. I am trying to test out cameras that I am considering, so I really
need your feedback. I am in love with the portraiture of this camera,
but it is lacking in macro (probably because of the lens)
All of these photos are of a nieghbor called Ruthie. She is absolutely adorable
and has already proposed to me :) Hehehe.....no seriously...she has :) As I said
I love the portraiture of the Canon, I feel like whereas lots of the photos with my old camera were
HORRIBLE (the ones I don't post on my blog), almost every photo
I took with the Canon Rebel was pretty decent. Hope you enjoy them
and I would love lots of feedback (and followers :)!

I really love the lighting, colours, and pastel background in this photo.

Thought I would share with you one of the better
macro photos taken with the Canon.

Hands & Tyndall

Ok, as all of you SHOULD know by now, my camera broke, I'm getting a new one,
I have to save up for it etc. Going back over my photos to see if
there are any other ones that are worthy to compare to the others. This means
they will most likely be not as good, but I still hope you enjoy them :)

I realised I have not done a post with Tyndall in it for like ages (In fact I think don't even
have a photo on my blog of her possibly) BUT I found one (even though
you cant see her face :) I like how she is in the foreground
but is still the main subject.... it hopefully leads
your eye from the front to the back of the photo (Best viewed large)

This photo was taken when our neighbours Lilly and Kate
were washing their hands, I snapped some photos of it (one
which you have previously seen) and here is another one!
